Deployment Assistant
SnailLift helps deploy public generated files. It is not hosting and does not own your Shell, key, account, source, or domain.
Official Bundled Plugin
SnailLift is surfaced as the official bundled plugin postsnail-snaillift in the admin Extensions tab. Provider-specific deployment logic still stays isolated under src/snaillift and out of Core modules.
Enable In Extensions
Disabling the plugin hides the Surge publish card but does not delete deployment settings. Download Website ZIP remains available either way.
Flow
Export Website ZIP, run the SnailLift safety check, publish through the local Surge bridge after one-time setup, deploy public static files from a trusted terminal, verify the live PostSnail proof files, then notify Forest.
Boundaries
SnailLift must never upload .postsnail Shell vaults, drafts, private keys, rejected comments, private plugin state, recovery data, or environment files.
ZIP Fallback
Download ZIP remains the universal fallback for every creator. SnailLift is optional and must be enabled before deployment assistants appear.
