Guide

SnailLift Surge

SnailLift Alpha 2 supports a Surge publish flow inside the admin.

Setup

Enter the Surge site URL, domain, project folder, login, and token. The login and token stay inside the encrypted Shell.

Local Bridge

The one-click publish flow hands off to a local bridge at 127.0.0.1. Start it with npm run surge:bridge before publishing.

Publish

Click Publish to Surge. PostSnail builds the public files, runs the local safety checks, uploads through the bridge, verifies the live proof files, and notifies Forest only after verification passes.

Token Guidance

Use a limited Surge token. Do not paste secrets you do not want stored inside the encrypted Shell. The token is never written to the public Website ZIP, localStorage, or tracker payloads.

Bridge Helper

The bridge command remains available in the advanced section for creators who want to start the helper manually.

CORS

The public ZIP includes a Surge CORS file so the browser verifier can fetch the live proof files.
