Public Badge Files
Generated Website ZIPs include badges/posts/<slug>.svg and badges/claims/<slug>.postsnail.badge.<hash-prefix>.json for published posts. Raw hashes and signatures remain in manifest proof files.
Claim By Download
Readers click a badge to download a public claim file. Public blogs never ask for a reader's .postsnail file or passphrase.
Local Import Verification
The PostSnail Badges plugin verifies the public post digest and ML-DSA-65 signature locally, then stores a sanitized claim summary inside the encrypted Shell.
Collection Page
Readers can publish /badges/ in their own Website ZIP. Claims are grouped by Forest, then ShellName or source site, then ordered by date and title.
Forest Resolver
Collection links use Forest /go/post resolver URLs so a badge bookmark can follow signed domain moves when Forest knows the current indexed post.
Limits
Badges are bookmarks and visual proof seals. They do not prove legal identity, factual truth, endorsement, domain ownership, or full ZIP verification.
