Version 1
Alpha 2 workspace data is schema postsnail-workspace-data version 1. It stores profile, posts, assets, encrypted identity, settings, commit history, plugin state, moderation data, tracker URLs, ShellName records, and export history.
Future Chains
Future migrations should move data one version at a time, such as v1 to v2 to v3, with deterministic transforms and tests for every version step.
Future Version Failure
If a .postsnail file was created by a newer PostSnail version, this version shows: This workspace was created by a newer PostSnail version.
Legacy JSON
Legacy JSON backups are not the new source format. They remain importable, are validated, and are converted into the v1 encrypted workspace schema.
